Clíodhna studied Civil Law In UCC in 2006 and Commercial Law in UCD in 2010. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 and completed a Diploma in Insolvency and Corportate restructuring the same year. She is a partner in the Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring Team in Beauchamps LLP. Qualifying as a solicitor in 2013, she joined Beauchamps and was instrumental in setting up the team dealing with residential mortgage repossession.
Since the enactment of the Personal Insolvency (Amendment) Act 2015, she has become a specialist in the area of personal insolvency and represents a large number of financial institutions in bringing objections to protective certificates and proposed personal insolvency arrangements.
Clíodhna has acted in a number of leading cases which have defined and shaped the landscape of personal insolvency law. She lectures in the Law Society of Ireland in the area of personal insolvency and regularly provides training to her clients.
