Katie Nagle BL is in her fifth year of practice at the Bar and has a broad practice in all areas of civil law with a focus on chancery, commercial and insolvency. Katie has advised and represented liquidators, examiners, and receivers in numerous High Court and Circuit Court applications. Katie regularly acts for financial institutions in disputes relating to receiverships, mortgage arrears and enforcement proceedings.

Katie is a committee member and CPD Convenor for the Corporate & Insolvency Bar Association (CIBA). Katie also acts a legal researcher for the Company Law Review Group and undertakes complex legal research on all areas of company law.  Katie completed an internship at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution in New York in 2024, expanding her experience in International Arbitration. Katie is also a qualified Arbitral Secretary.

Prior to her career at the Bar, Katie worked as a Judicial Assistant to a Judge of the High Court, where she gained extensive experience of both civil and criminal law.
